T Levels are a new vocational qualification, first introduced in the academic year 2020-21. They are a high-quality, work-focused alternative to A Levels for young people once they’ve finished their GCSEs. These new two-year courses are designed with education and industry professionals, including HE representatives, to intimately reflect the needs of the sectors and occupations they’re designed to serve.
T Levels feature an employer-set project and a substantial work placement of a minimum of 45 working days. They are designed to equip young people with the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to progress into work or higher-level study.

As a leading provider of educational services, we have been working closely with government to develop the technical qualifications for T Levels in education and childcare; digital; health, science, and healthcare science.
The number of T Level courses and the providers offering them will increase incrementally, year on year, until the academic year 2023-24, when they’ll be rolled out nationwide.
One T Level provides a maximum of 3 A Levels’ worth of UCAS points.
