With the government’s recent commitment to increasing police numbers, it’s a great time to consider entering the uniformed services as a career choice. The Fire Brigade Union is also seeking an additional 5,000 firefighters, as recruitment in this area continues to grow and provide roles that are rich with opportunities for progression.

NCFE’s Public Services qualifications are flexible and current, allowing learners to be prepared for their progression into employment within the industry. Our courses also provide routes into higher education, with Level 3 qualifications attracting UCAS points and support from leading universities.

Case study: supporting learner success

Learners on the NCFE Level 2 and 3 Diploma Entry to the Uniformed Services at Suffolk New College are gaining skills for a wide range of occupational roles in public services.
