T Levels: the future of childcare and education

As the leading sector specialists, we are delighted to have developed the technical qualification for the education and childcare T Level.

This landmark technical qualification was launched in September 2020, making it one of the first T Levels to be available to students.

Backed by employers, developed by experts

We worked with over 45 sector bodies, employers, expert practitioners and training providers to develop the technical qualification that underpins the education and childcare T Level.

This substantial collaboration enabled us to ensure this technical qualification reflects the needs of the sector and specialist occupations they serve – in turn supporting students’ preparation for work or further study in the education and childcare sector.

Supporting providers every step of the way

We understand that T Levels are completely new qualifications, and we’re committed to supporting your delivery every step of the way, to maximise outcomes for your learners.  We’ve prepared a comprehensive package of support materials, resources and activities to help you deliver these transformative qualifications.

 Our offer includes:

  • Guidance documents
  • Support videos
  • Sample assessment materials.

A dedicated account specialist to support you

Every NCFE T Level provider is assigned a dedicated account specialist who is on hand to support them throughout their T Level journey. This single point of contact means the answer to any T Level query is never more than a phone call or email away.

About the education and childcare T Level
Will the T Level provide a license to practice upon successful completion?

What is the CACHE Technical Qualification element of the T Level?
