The Lifetime Skills Guarantee is a government-backed initiative which is transforming the skills system so that everyone, no matter where they live or what their background, can gain the skills they need to progress in work at any stage of their lives.
The Covid-19 pandemic highlighted the skills gaps in our nation’s workforce, and we must address and fill these gaps to re-energise our economy. The Lifetime Skills Guarantee is an essential part of this economic recovery and we’re delighted to have qualifications available under this initiative.
We understand that finding work can feel daunting. NCFE was born in 1848 with the belief that no-one should be left behind, and we’re now taking up that cause with new energy to help upskill the UK workforce.
We have a range of courses available, including in early years and childcare, digital skills and cyber security, and uniformed services.
We’re also proud to exclusively offer Level 3 Certificates in Dementia Care, End of Life, Diabetes, and Mental Health. These qualifications are ideal for providers with a large volume of learners on similar Level 2 Certificates, who are looking to progress. Plus, to help as many learners to progress as possible, our qualifications are fully funded for adults who don’t currently hold a full Level 3 qualification.
We want to support providers to deliver on and maximise their funding allocations in new skill areas, such as digital skills. We’ve designed our Level 3 Certificate in Coding and Level 3 in Cyber Security specifically for this purpose.
With a range of resources, placement opportunities and assessments to suit everyone, our courses will equip adults to retrain and re-enter the world of work.
