Approach to awarding and assessment for 2021-22

We were delighted to have seen thousands of learners celebrate their vocational qualification results in the summer of 2021, and progress to the next stage of their lives.

We are now looking ahead to the 2021-22 session and you can find a wealth of support and guidance on these pages. You are also still able to access archived information for 2020-21 in this hub as well.

Ofqual and the DfE have published the consultation outcomes on ‘Arrangements for the assessment and awarding of vocational, technical and other general qualifications: 2021 to 2022’ and we can provide you with the key information from the consultation outcomes as well as NCFE’s approach to awarding for 2021-22. We have published our blueprint for the year ahead and also delivered a webinar which you can view on the page linked below.

More detailed adaptation information is now available for most of our qualifications on QualHub. A limited number of qualifications are still being reviewed and you can find details on when to expect adaptations for these here.
